Way to the Spire from the Abbey Court

When you step out the front door of our hostel you are faced with the scenic view of the river Liffey. Take an immediate left and walk for 30 seconds passing The Bachelor pub and Dublin'’s Tourist office until you come to the corner of O'’Connell Street. Directly opposite you stands the statue of Daniel O’'Connell, a famous leader in Ireland'’s struggle for independence. Turn left onto O'’Connell Street, and keep walking past Burger King and McDonald's. You will cross over the road at the intersection of Middle Abbey Street and continue on straight passing the famous General Post Office building. Cross over on to the middle pedestrian area of O'’Connell Street and the Spire is directly in front of you.

Way to Temple Bar from the Abbey Court

When you step out of the hostel you see the River Liffey opposite you, take an immediate right and continue on straight passing the entrance to the Abbey Court Apartments until you reach the well renowned Halfpenny Bridge, dating back to 1815. Cross over the bridge onto the south side of the city. Facing you is an archway that leads you into the main square of Temple Bar, home to an abundance of bars, cafes and restaurants.

Way to DART Tara Station from the Abbey Court

When you step out of the doors of the hostel, you are facing the River Liffey. Take an immediate left and continue up Bachelor's Walk and across the road at the lights of the junction of O'Connell Street. On your right is the well renowned O'Connell Bridge, the central point of Dublin's City Centre. Keep walking straight past the bridge onto Eden Quay; continue this way for a minute until you reach Liberty Hall, Ireland's tallest building standing at 17 stories. Turn right across the road and over the Talbot Memorial Bridge. Tara Street Dart Station is directly opposite this bridge on the left.
