Looking for Dublin accommodation? See what these people have to say about the Abbey Court Hostel

Post 1

Dublin is a wonderful place, you have all these fancy attractions to visit, people to meet, events to attend… and generally, you have a lot of life to live! Sadly though, we need to rest and sleep between the things that make life worth living, so Dublin also has an abundance of wonderful accommodation for people of every walk of life. So how do you know which one is right for you? I’m not going to claim to know the answer, but these nice people were kind enough to leave some feedback about our hostel, so see what they think, and maybe come visit us yourself.

Free breakfast and great location

We got a wonderful studio apartment with private bathroom for one night at a very low price. Location also was great. When we went to check out we met the owner and he offered us a free breakfast in the hostel. They do seem to care about their customers here. Would book again if stopping in Dublin another time.

15 Japanese students on exchange trip with Trinity

I booked my university students into this place because it was near Trinity, where we had business, and the room configuration meant my students would not have to share. The 15 boys and three girls all had their own ensuite. It was compact but fine for the 4 nights we were there. Michael at reception was helpful and professional, as was all the staff when we went. They are busy, but never seemed stressed, and were cooperative when one of our students took ill. It is a fantastic location right near O'Connel Street and Temple Bar. If you read the poor reviews you'll see the problems are often other guests, but you'll get that in any hostel in a stag-favoured town. It seemed clean, comfortable and safe to me, and my students had no complaints.

Meet new people in the heart of Dublin

This place has all the charm when looking for something right in the heart of Dublin. Just a few steps from the popular O'Connel and just a few paces from Trinity College. Everything was great: staff, rooming, showers, and public areas. I've been traveling with a partner across Ireland and out of the 5 hostels we stayed, this was the best. Our highlight was meeting great roommates and staying up all night sharing stories of our different (or not so different) worlds. All I can say is if you're looking for a social situation, be open, start a little conversation and let it bloom. The Abbey Court is a wonderful setting for it.
